In the world of hacking, a small group of individuals have managed to make a name for themselves through their sheer mastery of their craft. These hackers have managed to outplay some of the biggest organizations in the world, and their feats have become the stuff of legend. Here are ten mastermind hackers that outplayed everyone, even NASA.

1. Kevin Mitnick – Known as the “Condor,” Mitnick became one of the most infamous hackers in the world when he was arrested in 1995. His exploits involved breaking into computer systems of major corporations, including Motorola and Sun Microsystems.

2. Adrian Lamo – Lamo is known for his ability to hack into computer networks and then identify vulnerabilities to alert the owners. Despite being hailed as a hero for his acts, Lamo was later involved in a scandal which led to his imprisonment.

3. Jonathan James – At the mere age of 15, James became the first juvenile to be imprisoned for hacking. He hacked into the computer systems of the US Department of Defence and NASA, making away with highly-sensitive data.

4. Gary McKinnon – This Scottish hacker was responsible for what is considered to be the largest military computer hack in history. He gained access to the records of the US military and NASA, causing damage that ran into millions.

5. Kevin Poulsen – Poulsen is best known for hacking into the phone lines of a radio station in Los Angeles, which then led him to win a competition for a Porsche. He was later imprisoned for his hacking activities.

6. Robert Tappan Morris – Morris is infamous for creating the first-ever computer worm, which unleashed itself on the internet, causing widespread panic and chaos.

7. Mike Davis – Davis gained access to the computer networks of a range of companies, including AT&T and the New York Times. He also managed to bypass the security systems of the US Air Force.

8. Vladimir Levin – This Russian hacker managed to steal $10.7 million from the computer systems of Citibank. He was arrested in the UK and extradited to the US, where he faced charges for his crime.

9. Ian Murphy – Murphy, also known as “Captain Zap,” once hacked into the computers of NASA, gaining access to highly-sensitive data. He also managed to hack into phone systems, landing himself in prison for a considerable amount of time.

10. Albert Gonzalez – Gonzalez is infamous for being the mastermind behind the biggest credit card fraud in history. He was responsible for stealing millions of credit card numbers from companies such as TJX and Heartland Payment Systems.

These ten mastermind hackers are just a few of the individuals who have managed to outplay the biggest organizations in the world. Their feats are a testament to their technical prowess, and they remain icons in the hacking world today. As technology continues to advance, it remains to be seen who the next generation of mastermind hackers will be.
