8. Vladimir Levin – This Russian hacker managed to steal $10.7 million from the computer systems of Citibank. He was arrested in the UK and extradited to the US, where he faced charges for his crime.

9. Ian Murphy – Murphy, also known as “Captain Zap,” once hacked into the computers of NASA, gaining access to highly-sensitive data. He also managed to hack into phone systems, landing himself in prison for a considerable amount of time.

10. Albert Gonzalez – Gonzalez is infamous for being the mastermind behind the biggest credit card fraud in history. He was responsible for stealing millions of credit card numbers from companies such as TJX and Heartland Payment Systems.
